Inspiration Statemtent

I am stimulated by the colors and geometrics of Latin American, African & African American artists. Intrigued by works of Mark Rothko, Lois Mailou Jones, Piet Mondrian, Sonia Delaunay, Jacob Lawrence and later works of Wassily Kandinsky; I am motivated by non-representation and non-objective images.I seek influence from Action and Color Field Painters, artists of the Cubism Movement, Tribal Art and artists of Abstract Expressionism.
